i went to to valiyaparamba backwater in the early morning and it was a breathtaking viw.Theres one more village canal tour in kollam where u crise through the canals and ashtamudi lake in a similar boat
gr8, n alleppey has its own charm too, i had spent a full day n night on a non-mechanised boat !!
it was an experience to remember.... especially the night on the vembanad lake n the morn near the paddy fields...
good god.i did the same too.kuttanad paddy fields...............
