...the martyrs memorial always evokes a sense of respect... this one isn't exactly a memorial but nevertheless brought back memories of my trip to jalianwala bagh in amritsar... the whole atmosphere there evoked a deep sense of regard...

...this one's right out of pondicherry, along the beach road... there will be many sights that will catch your eye & heart in pondy...

I remember a Gandhi statue..We once sat there for a couple of hours..but i dont remember this..which martyrs is this dedicated to?

@shain: didnt do much of research, was captivated by the scene & surroundings :o))

the gandhi statue is only around two blocks from this place... in places like this, it pays to walk around & explore the not-so frequented 'gullys'...
